Robin Kimmerer

Robin Wall Kimmerer is a professor of environmental biology at the State University of New York and founding director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment. Robin is an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and MacArthur Fellow. Robin works with tribal nations on environmental problem solving and sustainability. She is the author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants and Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses.
